Privacy Policy (Plera)
Last Updated on April, 28, 2026
Plera (“App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your rights.
1. Who We Are
Data Controller: Vladyslav Dmytriiev
Contact Email: heycontacts.com@gmail.com
If you are in the EEA/UK, this entity is the controller of personal data processed in connection with the App.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Plera iOS application, including its widgets and related subscription functionality.
It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies (for example Apple, PostHog, RevenueCat).
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Data you provide in the App
The App stores schedule and planning data that you enter, such as:
shift calendar settings (cycle type, anchor date, shift defaults),
day entries (work/off overrides, hours, optional notes),
extra/custom shift entries (date, start time, duration, earnings, optional title and notes),
pay settings and pay snapshots.
3.2 Subscription and purchase-related data
For subscriptions, we use RevenueCat (which works with Apple in-app purchases).
We may process subscription-related data, such as:
app user identifier generated/managed by RevenueCat,
entitlement/subscription status,
product identifiers (for example monthly/yearly),
purchase/restore status and timestamps provided by Apple/RevenueCat.
We do not receive your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Apple.
3.3 Analytics and product usage data
We use PostHog to understand usage and improve the App.
This includes events like screen views and selected in-app product actions (for example onboarding completion, shift saved, subscription activation).
Depending on SDK behavior and device settings, analytics may include:
pseudonymous identifiers,
app version, OS version, device type,
event metadata/properties,
approximate technical network metadata (such as IP-derived context on provider side).
3.4 Notifications data
If you enable reminders, we request notification permission and schedule local notifications for shifts.
We store notification preference status.
3.5 Widget-related data
To power widgets, the App writes snapshot data to an app group container shared between the main app and widget extension.
4. How We Use Data
We use data to:
provide core scheduling and shift-planning functionality,
calculate and display insights/statistics in the App,
send shift reminders (if enabled),
provide subscription features and restore purchases,
detect issues and improve product quality and UX,
analyze aggregate usage trends,
comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
Contract: to provide the App features you use.
Legitimate interests: to improve reliability, prevent abuse, and analyze product performance.
Consent: where required (for example, notifications permission; analytics consent where applicable under local law).
Legal obligation: when required by law.
6. Sharing of Data
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with service providers strictly for the purposes above:
Apple (in-app purchases, platform services),
RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure),
PostHog (product analytics),
other infrastructure/service vendors as needed for secure app operations.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.
7. International Data Transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country.
Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example contractual safeguards or equivalent legal mechanisms).
For PostHog, we currently configure the EU ingestion host (eu.i.posthog.com), but processing may still involve subprocessors according to provider documentation.
8. Data Retention
On-device app data (schedule, entries, notes, settings) is stored locally and kept until you delete it in-app (if supported) or remove the App/device data.
Analytics and subscription records are retained by relevant providers for as long as needed for the purposes described, subject to their retention settings and legal requirements.
We may retain limited records longer if required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
access your personal data,
correct inaccurate data,
request deletion,
restrict or object to processing,
data portability,
withdraw consent (where processing is consent-based),
odge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise rights, contact: heycontacts.com@gmail.com
11. US State Privacy Disclosures (including California)
If applicable under US state privacy laws, you may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing.
We do not sell personal data and do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable law.
To submit a request: heycontacts.com@gmail.com
12. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by local law).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Third-Party Services
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
This includes Apple, RevenueCat, and PostHog.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
